Upcoming elections for Regional Board Members

AOVET will soon initiate the application process for new Members of the Regional Boards in Asia Pacific, Europe, and Latin America. As AOVET Faculty, you will receive a call for applications in your region via electronic mail with detailed information on the candidate requirements, the job re-quirements, and on the election procedure, as well as what is new in the AOVET Regional Board constellation.

 

AOVET Faculty can now VOTE for their Regional Board Members!

The AOVET International Board has recently decided on a fundamental change of the election procedure for Regional Board members: now AOVET Faculty can directly vote for their Regional Board Members. We believe our Faculty should have a voice in the future of the organization. We believe your voice can help build strong leadership in the regions. We believe one vote, one voice, can affect the outcome.

 

Why vote?

Vote because every election matters. Vote because the choices you will make matter. Vote because elections aren’t simply about your representatives in the region. Who you choose to lead your region will have an impact on the AOVET community.

 

Who can vote for AOVET Regional Board Members?

Active Faculty of a respective region that:

1. Were actively involved in a teaching event as Course Chairpersons or Faculty in the last three years (table instructors and helpers that did not give lectures are excluded),  and
2. Have attended an FEP, and
3. Are financial AOVET members.

 

An invitation to vote on the chosen candidates for your region will be sent via electronic mail with accompanying instructions on how the AOVET online voting system works. When you vote for your officials, you make choices that will have very direct and concrete effects on AOVET's future.
