As a nonprofit organization, our success and outreach are also dependent upon financial support from sponsors. Consequently, there is an opportunity for interested companies (such as those working in animal nutrition or the pharmaceutical sector) to partner with AOVET as sponsors for our educational events.

 

We are open to working with interested companies active in fields that are relevant to veterinarians. However, we cannot work with companies that are active producers, sellers, or distributors of implants, plates, power tools, or workstations.

 

Sponsors are encouraged to provide non-specific financial support for events, as this offers them an outstanding opportunity to showcase their products, services, and latest innovations to an international, highly targeted audience of skilled, knowledgeable professionals at AOVET educational events.

One central element in attracting potential sponsors is visibility. AOVET stands a much better chance of getting the partnership and sponsorship agreements it needs and deserves if it is able to maintain its visibility among the broader community. Therefore, to achieve this, AOVET increased its presence at international events and congresses in 2018 compared to previous years. AOVET members were “flying the flag” at WASAVA in Singapore 2018, ECVS in Athens 2018, and ESVOT/WOC in Barcelona 2018. This kind of outreach is really a group activity, and we are grateful to everyone who has worked with us and taken part in helping us position ourselves to achieve this goal. AOVET surgeons supported us significantly during these conferences in reaching out to the most relevant potential sponsors on the market.

 

We would like to further pursue this initiative and invite you to contact us if you are aware of or have a relationship with a company that might be a good fit as a potential sponsor. We are grateful for any hints and introductions so that we can follow-up from the office and investigate concrete opportunities for collaboration with sponsors.
