Welcome

FacultyFocus 2-2019

Dear colleagues,

In this second issue of the AOCMF FacultyFocus newsletter, we are happy to present the latest developments implemented by AOCMF after the 2018 Gap Analysis. Moreover, we are proud to introduce the new faculty pathway that the AOCMF International Board recently approved; it will set the minimum criteria that a potential future faculty candidate or course chair must fulfill when applying.

You can also read about the new interactive webinar format, AOCMF On Air, that takes the popular small group discussions from our Management of Facial Trauma course concept online. Be ready to join the two On Air television productions planned for 2019 in Bangalore, India, and Davos, Switzerland!

Last but not least, we are delighted that we can already provide details of the next Davos Courses planned for December 2019. Read about the new course, Advances in 3D Planning and 3D Printing in CMF Surgery, that will join the improved AOCMF Masters Course—Orthognathic Surgery, Challenges and Controversies (with human anatomical specimens) and the AOCMF Masters Course—Facial Trauma, Challenges and Controversies (with human anatomical specimens).

We hope you enjoy reading about all that is new in the world of AOCMF world and we look forward to continuing this exciting journey with you. Thank you very much for your dedication to AOCMF.

With best wishes,
