AO CMF On Air is going global: from Davos and Bangalore to a global audience

Building on the massive success of the AO CMF On Air: Live from Davos livestream, the winning TV concept has now officially gone global.

Building on the massive success of the AO CMF On Air: Live from Davos livestream, the winning TV concept has now officially gone global. The first ever offshore production took place November 15, 2019, in Bangalore, India, as part of the program of the 44th annual conference of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India.

 

The very popular AO CMF On Air webinar format was livestreamed, in front of a live studio audience from the thick of the action of the of the 44th annual conference of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India. The on-site and online audience had the opportunity to interact with expert panelist about mandibular reconstruction.

 

AO CMF was proud to present an all-star lineup of AO CMF faculty in the Bangalore TV studio, including Sabine Girod (United States), Moni Kuriakose (India), Gregorio Sánchez Aniceto (Spain), and Gopal Krishnan (India). Also on stage was a panel of four local surgeons who courageously tackled questions from presenters and the audience.

 

The topic of the day, Fail to plan, plan to fail: mandibular reconstruction, sparked a lot of debate, resulting in a fast-paced and information-packed session.

 

 

In 2020 AO CMF On Air will travel to another continent with the broadcast reaching a global audience from the XXV Congresso Brasileiro de Cirurgia e Traumatologia Buco-Maxilo-Facial (COBRAC), Brazil’s 25th national congress for oral and maxillofacial surgery and traumatology, November 4–7, in Belem, Brazil.
