Beyond the updated branding, the new template offers various additional features, including:

• A new format (16:9, instead of the earlier 4:3), taking advantage of the resolutions of current video projectors
• Three slides which are strongly recommended by the AO Education Institute (AOEI): a Declaration of Conflict of Interest, which should be the first slide after the title slide; learning objectives; and take-home messages
• Helpful hints on how to fill the three above-mentioned slides
