Basic Principles

New AO Trauma Online Course—Basic Principles of Fracture Management Essentials

The AO Trauma residents education taskforce developed an online course with a guided pathway, allowing residents to acquire the entire knowledge portion of the basic principles course and to develop procedural knowledge using Touch Surgery modules for practical exercises.

Digital Learning

AO Trauma North America Interactive Online Course—Osteotomy Weekly

This online course entailed a total of 19 sessions: 90-minute sessions over ten Saturdays and 60-minute Ask the Experts sessions over nine Thursdays. Each week, new material was introduced on Saturday. During the subsequent days, the learner had the opportunity to reflect on the weekly lesson and then ask questions on Thursday during the review session.
