Two new competency-based curricula: Foot and Ankle and Pediatrics
AOTrauma is pleased to announce the availability of two new competency-based curricula: Foot and Ankle and Pediatrics. As a result of a multi-year process and intensive work of the respective Education Taskforces (ETFs), chairpersons and faculty now have a framework at hand to help them design events that address learner needs based on a set of defined competencies. Dr Mauricio Kfuri speaks about the Leader Education Program
Since 2014, the Faculty Development Department aligned all faculty development programs across the AOs Clinical Divisions creating the Faculty Education Program (FEP), and the Chairperson Program (CEP). In this process, the Faculty Development Coordination Group responsible for the alignment defined the need for a program that addresses the needs and challenges faced by education leaders in the AO and developed the competency-based Leader Education Program (LEP).
